    Testimonials

    Claudio Martani
Senior Researcher at the Chair of Sustainable Engineering for Architecture (ETH Zurich)

"The value of the interdisciplinary education provided by the degree programme in Management of Built Environment - grounded in solid foundations in technology, sustainability, management techniques, and financial aspects - has equipped me with essential tools to understand the complexity of the construction sector. This integrated approach provides a broad perspective on the contemporary challenges of the construction industry, where innovation is built on technological, process-related, and management dimensions. Thanks to this structure, the degree programme in Management of Built Environment has provided me with the preparation needed to pursue research activities in the building sector, both at the national and international levels."

    Gloria Orlandini
Construction Manager per un General Contractor che si chiama Factory D&B Italy

"I discovered this Master’s degree almost by chance during my Erasmus year, while in my second year of Architecture, thanks to a fellow student who was planning to enroll. After looking into it, I immediately saw it as a great opportunity: the world of architecture has changed, and to secure a solid professional standing, it is essential to acquire versatile skills closer to engineering. I chose that path and today I am infinitely grateful for it, as it has opened so many doors for me. I am now a licensed building engineer; after working as a Project Manager for a major consulting firm like CBRE within the retail sector, I now focus on Construction Management for a General Contractor in the office sector. This Master’s degree provided the solid foundation that allows me to navigate any environment with confidence, seamlessly blending technical expertise with managerial skills."

    Michele Laurante
PhD Student - Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering, Politecnico di Milano

"The Master’s degree in Management of Built Environment allowed me to develop an integrated perspective on the technical, economic, and managerial aspects of the construction sector. During the program, I deepened my knowledge of topics related to innovation, sustainability, and process management across the building life cycle. The program also enabled me to connect research with industrial application through collaborations with companies and research projects. Today, I am pursuing an industrial PhD, where I directly apply the skills and knowledge acquired during my studies in real-world contexts."

    Simone Cianci
    Senior Associate - Asset Management

"The degree program in Management of Built Environment represents a distinctive offering within the academic landscape, particularly for students seeking a cross-disciplinary education across different fields in the real estate sector. Its value lies in the multidisciplinary nature of the curriculum, which enables students to develop skills applicable in a wide range of contexts, from technical aspects of the built environment to economic and financial management. This is also reflected in the diverse academic backgrounds of those who can access the program, ranging from architects to civil and management engineers.
In my current role, I supervise and coordinate a range of activities related to real estate assets. The degree program enabled me to develop the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage both technical and economic activities. This integrated perspective allows me to approach both operational and strategic aspects with greater awareness, in a field where these two dimensions are closely interconnected.
