It is possible to choose between two different tracks (study plans) from the beginning:

  • TECHNICAL CURRICULUM: focuses on the physical and technical aspects involved in the management and assessment of the real estate sector
  • ECONOMIC CURRICULUM: focuses on management of economic aspects of real estate sector

120 CREDITS

  • Courses common to both tracks
  • Core courses specific to each track

including 15 CREDITS

  • Internship
  • Thesis work

  • Ex-cathedra lessons
  • Teamwork
  • Lab activities
  • Flipped classroom and active involvement of the students
  • Involvement of stakeholders for case studies, internship experiences and the development of the final thesis

ATTENDANCE
It is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to facilitate learning through a continuous interaction with teachers, and technical staff.

FINAL TEST
It consists of presentation and discussion of a final work (master’s thesis). This means an original work for scientific content (theoretical, numerical or experimental), or for the complexity and multidisciplinarity.

AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME
Students enrolled in Management of Built Environment have the opportunity to select a high-level training program that allows them to obtain the additional title of expert in Smart Infrastructures. Students who join the program will be able to select a number of courses – compulsory and elective – equal to a minimum of 30 ECTS (including 10 ECTS in supernumerary for a total of 130 ECTS) and obtain at the end the title of POLIMI AMBASSADOR in SMART INFRASTRUCTURES. Therefore, this training programme is already articulated within the MSc educational path, and sets at 130 credits (thus at least extra 10 credits in addition to the standard MSc requirements)
